Musician's or Publisher's Notes

… Poetry is also the source for the title of Prelude #4, "Les sons et les parfums tournent dans l'air du soir," a line from Baudelaire. Sounds and scents whirling in the evening air; the atmosphere is similar to that of "Delphes," although the pace is a little faster. This is an improvisatory prelude that ruminates around the keyboard: very much like a gentle evening breeze.
