Kristine Dizon Graybar is currently pursuing degrees in European History and Music at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She currently studies with international soloist, Alexander Fiterstein. Previous teachers include Steve Cohen, Steven Barta and Joseph Longo. Since 2008, Kristine has performed with the Minnesota National Guard Army 34th Infantry Division Band that will be touring Heidelberg, Germany this upcoming summer. In 2009, Ms. Graybar toured with the Grand Symphonic Winds in China, performing at the National Centre of the Performing Arts in Beijing and the Shanghai World Expo. An advocate for music education and developing the talent of young performers, Ms. Graybar attended Indiana University’s Clarinet Workshop studying clarinet methods with Howard Klug, Steve Cohen and Eric Mandat. In addition to performing clarinet, Ms. Graybar is the Music Director of the Crosstown Community Band. For the past seven years, Kristine has taught a variety of students from beginners to adults. Previous students participated in the Minnesota Youth Symphonies and have been accepted to reputable music institutions.
