Biography

Philippe A.G.R. Janssens born in Gent (Belgium) 1963. Started his musical career in 1979 with the band he formed: The JPHBand together with his brother Steve Janssens. In the same year he also started his first recording studio (Multi-House) were they recorded their first 3 albums and several other artists recordings like "The Mission, The Red Fish etc.

Later in 1981 he joined "The Deadlines" in Germany were he recorded one album with. In 1982 he formed "Egypt" together with bandmembers of "The Deadlines" but now Philippe was the frontman. From there his career gets a boost a specialy in Germany. They recorded two albums and four singles. In 1984 he went solo with his band "The JPHBand" wich he restarted but now without his brother. A massive 40 albums are recorded till now with that band. Besides that he Formed Bands he still working with (TriangleOne, The Square Circles) and works under different artist names (Philippe Andre, Philippe A.G.R. Janssens, JPH). He owns now his own JPHProductions and JPHRecords and is at this moment setting up JPHGuitars, JPHinstruments and Dolf instruments.
