Biography

Adrien Zitoun joined the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra in 2001. Previously, he was a member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago. As a member of the Eusia String Quartet, he won the Gold medal at the Fischoff Chamber Music Competition. With the Nagaokakyo Chamber Ensemble in Japan, he has recorded four CDs and received the "Critic Club Award" in 1999, the "ABC Music Award" in 2004 and the "Japan Pen Club Award" in 2004. In his native France, Zitoun studied cello with Yvan Chiffoleau. He came to the US in 1996, where he earned his Artist Diploma and Master of Music degree from Indiana University studying with Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi and Janos Starker.
