Anna Lisa Giordano obteined the Postgraduate Diploma in Piano with full honors at the Conservatory "S. Pietro a Majella" in Naples in 2007. She began studying piano at the age of five at the "Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana" in Lugano, where she performed several times in concerts reserved for the best students.
In 1997 began her long and important study relationship with M° Annamaria Pennella, which lasted 8 years. She took part as an effective student in Courses and Masterclasses held by Annamaria Pennella, Emanuela Friscioni, Paul Badura - Skoda, Orazio Maione, Antonio Pompa - Baldi, Francesco Nicolosi, Luigi Averna, Laura de Fusco, Leslie Howard, and Alexei Kornienko.
At the age of 13 she received a scholarship as "Young Talent" bestowed by the Regione Calabria.
From the first competition in which she participated, in the same year (the 8th national competition "Riviera della Versilia"), where she won first prize, she has won several national and international competitions: first prize at the 34th National Competition "Coppa Pianisti d'Italia", 5th International Piano Competition "Giuseppe Terracciano", 10th National Piano Competition "Città di Rocchetta" second prize at the International Competition "Camillo Togni" in 2001, 7th Competition of Musical Interpretation "Lario in Musica" (1st prize vacant).
She got to perform, both as soloist and member of chamber ensembles, at the "Festival dei Due Mari" Altomonte (CS, Italy), the Chamber Music Festival "Associazione Napolinova" (Naples), the Chamber Music Festival of Campagnano ( RM), the "LeXGiornate" Festival in Brescia (Associazione Soldano), the season "Oro Incenso e Musica" at the Museum of Villa Torlonia (Rome), at the Navy Officers' Club in Naples, the Conservatory "S. Pietro a Majella" in Naples, the "Cabrini " academy in Rome, the Oratorio "San Filippo Neri" in Rome, the "Carducci" Association in Como, the "G. Verdi" conservatory in Como (on the occasion of the opening concert of the Chopin Festival 2010), at Palazzo Monsignani in Imola, at Salone Bernareggi in Bergamo and at the final concerts of the best students of various courses throughout Italy.
In March 2010 she performed live on radio during the trasmission "Conservatori in Concerto" broadcasted by Vatican Radio, playing Chopin's Barcarolle op. 60. In July 2010 she was considered among the best students of the International Piano Forum in Chioggia (VE, Italy), performing Beethoven's Piano Concerto op. 37 with the Chioggia Symphony Orchestra.
Currently she is studying under the guidance of M° Konstantin Bogino, Svetlana Bogino, Vladimir Ogarkov, Laura Pietrocini and Fabiano Casanova and at the "Accademia Santa Cecilia" in Bergamo and the International Music Academy in Rome and she's attending the Chamber Music course at the International Piano Academy "Incontri col Maestro" in Imola, in duo with saxophonist Alfred Cerrito, with whom she founded the "Duo 8&15."
She's vice-president and artistic director of the association "Musica Sine Castribus".
