Biography

Gediminas
deepens his knowledge at the prestigious Music & Theatre Academy of
Hamburg with the famous composer Peter Michael Hamel at present. He
studied at the Lithuanian Music & Theatre Academy in the classes of
composer Vytautas Barkauskas and conductor Gintaras Rinkevičius in
2005-2009.

The artist is
not afraid of getting out of limits usual for the academic art, he
develops projects of unconventional concepts in unusual spaces, is
going to issue the album of remixed compositions by him that will be
created by famous electronic music makers.

Gediminas
Gelgotas founded the New Ideas Chamber Orchestra NICO in 2006 that
represents the music and artistic ideas by Gelgotas.  Together with
NICO, Gelgotas appeared on the stages of concert halls of Riga, Sanct
Petersburg, Moscow, London, Essen, Duisburg and other cities.  He is
the winner of several international and republican competitions;
different musicians in Latvia, Russia, Finland, Germany, France, United
Kingdom, USA, Argentina and other countries of the world perform his
music.
