Karen Ouzounian, Cello
Biography
Canadian-American cellist Karen Ouzounian has performed as a recitalist, soloist, and chamber musician throughout North America and Europe. Festivals include Marlboro, Opern Chamber Music of Prussia Cove, Caramoor, Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, and the Perlman Chamber Music Workshop. She has performed with such ensembles as Trio Cavatina, Tessera Quartet, A Far Cry, The Knights, and Coast Chamber Orchestra. An advocate of contemporary music, Karen has collaborated with the Argento Chamber Ensemble, Continuum, and AXIOM. She holds Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from the Juilliard School, where she was a student of Timothy Eddy.
