Maria Perrotta, pianist
Biography
Maria Perrotta is an Italian concert pianist and Decca Records artist based in Paris. She has won top prizes in several international piano competitions, including the International Piano Competition J.S. Bach, Würzburg (Germany) and the International Piano Competition Shura Cherkassky in Milan. A graduate of the Milan Conservatoire, the The École Normale de Musique in Paris and the National Academy of St Cecilia in Rome, she has performed with several orchestras including the RAI National Symphony Orchestra and the Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini. She has appeared on television and radio broadcasts. Critics have compared her performances with those of Alexis Weissenberg, Maurizio Pollini and Glenn Gould.

Maria Perrotta est une pianiste concertiste italienne et artiste du label Decca, basée à Paris. Elle a remporté les premiers prix de plusieurs concours internationaux de piano, dont le Concours international de piano J.S.
