CMSM MissionThe Chamber Music Society of Mississauga is a charitable organization dedicated to presenting excellent live, small-group chamber music with events that educate and inform, that strive to be truly enjoyable to young and old.  CMSM VisionThe Chamber Music Society of Mississauga seeks to inspire a love and appreciation for music and the arts in the community, especially among school-age children and their families.

The Chamber Music Society also nurtures talent by providing enriching opportunities for professional and community musicians to perform new chamber music repertoire, and by presenting the talent of people with local connections from other artistic disciplines.

The Chamber Music Society wants to be the organization to which young and old, new and seasoned local musicians turn for encouragement and opportunity to stretch their talent and fulfill their dreams.

  Our PhilosophyThe Chamber Music Society of Mississauga is committed to creating a rich cultural community in Mississauga and surrounding areas, where musicians and artists from diverse cultural backgrounds come together to explore and develop their talent. This means providing an opportunity and a venue for new artists. It also means offering cultural performance programs that stimulate and intrigue new audiences to seek further experiences of classical chamber music.

The Chamber Music Society also wants to be the key art-in-education resource in our community -- for the schools, libraries and children's festivals. We want to be a valuable resource to the teachers of our community.  Our ValuesWe will fulfill our mission by presenting professional, informal and, on occasion, multi-disciplinary concerts in a subscription series, and by providing captivating shows for youth that are presented through their schools. Our programs will be creative, vital and flexible, as will our organization.

We will offer our artists a professionally-supportive, warm and productive environment in which they can rehearse and perform works that are of personal interest to them.

We will offer our program within a sound financial and administrative structure that is accurate and accountable while maintaining our commitment to artistic quality.

We are passionate about what we do, and it is our passion that moves our audience. And it is through passion that we hope to claim a place in their hearts and minds.
