South African born soprano Samantha Malk completed her Bachelor's egree at Indiana University and her Master's Degree at the Manhattan School of Music, the latter under the direction of Patricia McCaffrey. Ms. Malk has sung the roles of Bastienne, Zerlina, Nannetta, Annina, Belinda, Amahl and the Sandman in the United States, and has also sung and competed in recitals and competitions around the world. She has performed in master classes with Håkan Hågegård, John Wustman, among others. Samantha has spent the last two months in Norway and Italy singing in various music festivals and will become a participant in the Britten Pears School in England after Belle Ile.
