Biography

Scarborough Trio has been performing throughout the United States for the past four years. The trio won a silver medal at the 2004 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, and gave its professional debut concert at Carnegie's Weill Hall as a winner of the 2003 Artist International Competition. Scarborough Trio recently completed a tour of the Midwestern United States with Allied Concert Services, and has been featured on WQXR's "Young Artists Showcase" with Bob Sherman. The trio has given many premiers, including a concert of new works written specifically for them by the composers collective Wet Ink.

Scarborough Trio actively performs throughout the New York City area and was heard on the "Concerts at One" series at Trinity Church, the "Sunday Recital Series" at St. John the Divine, the Salmagundi Club, and the Goethe Institut where they were presented by American Landmark Festivals. The group also works for Hospital Audiences, Inc., which brings music into hospitals, nursing homes, and senior centers.

The ensemble traveled to West Palm Beach, FL to perform on the Young Artist Series at the Kravis Center, and toured the west coast in 2002, 2003, and 2005, performing on the North Orange County Concert Association's Chamber Series in Fullerton, and giving recitals throughout southern California, including programs at schools including Cal State Long Beach, Citrus College, and Chapman University.
