Weijing Wang (viola) is a native of Shanghai where she studied with FeiWu and Qinglin Zhu. She won the gold medal in China's 2003 National Viola Competition held in Beijing, and the silver medal in the 2005 Chicago Viola Society Competition. She is now studying at Roosevelt University with Li-Kuo Chang, associate principal violist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. A member of the Chicago Civic Orchestra, Weijing has participated in the Morningside Bridge and in Pinchas Zukerman's Young Artist Program in Canada, the Schleswig-Holstein music festival in Germany, and the Perlman Music Program in Shanghai.
