A Tribute to Russian Masters, from Romances and Dances to Classics and Improv on the stage of the Colonial Theater, Pittsfield, MA
Performing selections from Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Skibinsky and more, an ensemble of Russian performers will delight audiences with the best of their musical heritage. The performers include Nika Leoni, soprano, Luba Poliak, piano, Illia Skibinsky, piano, saxophone, composer/arranger, Iryna Krechkovsky-Loucks, violin, Eddy Khaimovich, double bass and Adriana Salgado and Orlando Reyes as dancers.
World renowned cellist Ian Maksin is back from his sold-out European tour and performing in Chicago! In the intimate setting of a private home in Highland Park, Ian will give a "sneak-peek" performance of brand new "off-the-press" works by great Chicago composer Ilya Levinson. He will also perform works by J.S. Bach, Mieczyslaw Weinberg, Gaspar Cassado as well as his own compositions. http://www.ianmaksin.com
