June 6, 2017.The Cliburn update.The semifinal results were announced last night and both Daniel Hsu andGeorgy Tchaidze made it into the final round.Congratulations to both!In the final round they will perform a piano quintet (Daniel will play Franck’s Piano Quintet and Georgy – Dvořák’s Quintet op. 81) and then a concerto.Daniel will play Tchaykovsky’s no. 1, while Georgy will perform Prokofiev’s Piano concerto no. 3.Good luck and break a leg!
