Biography

I have been playing the piano for most of my life now. I remember being about four years old, and when my family would visit my grandpa's house Id always run right to his old Kawai organ and smash the keys. For some reason I just loved to mess with it, and for about three years I do not think it even occurred to me that I could make a song. I remember one day over his house, I was about six... I was randomly pressing the keys I ended up accidentally playing the first four notes to the song "Ode to Joy." I knew I recognized the sound, so I kept trying to figure out what would be next in the song. Before I knew it I was playing my horrible, one fingered six year old version of Ode to Joy. The best part of that memory was my grandparents telling me how much of a good job I did. I never took piano lessons, and took violin lessons for only two years. I can hardly read notes, but I don't think of that much. I love how when improvising music, I not only can express my mind and emotions, but be surprised to hear what they sound like! :P
