Biography

Born in Distrito Federal, Mexico, on April 18th, 1989.

 Mario Carreño began his studies at the Escuela Superior de Musica del Centro Nacional de las Artes in Mexico City with the teacher Maria Teresa Rodriguez (distinguished mexican pianist and jury in The International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in 1970) and soon after was accepted by Tonatiuh de la Sierra (pupil of the great mexican composer, Carlos Chavez).
 He has received master classes with teachers like Edison Quintana and Janusz Olejniczak.
