The best I can do is listen; any other undertaking puts the entire classical music world at considerable risk. However, I was for years a (yes, female) tenor in the Oratorio Society of New York, on its Board (I worked hard), worked at Tanglewood, know a couple conductors and have sung under the
baton of Copeland (talked to him once on the phone), Bernstein, and Mehta. I've also picked up a baton at the podium at Bayreuth, yes the Festspielhaus (?sp). Okay, so it WAS off-season..., but I
did get to opera once there.
Otherwise, I'm globally unremarkable, but I'm thankful I had such wonderful musical exposure in New York and Germany.
