A recent graduate of Manhattan School of Music, harpist Ruth Bennett has played with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, the New World Symphony, the Music Festival of the Hamptons, Barge Music, Potsdam University, and as soloist with Moscow's Chamber Orchestra Kremlin and the Peconic Chamber Orchestra. She was the first-prize winner in the advanced division of the NY State ASTA competition in 2001 and third-prize winner in the advanced division of the American Harp Society's National Competition 2001. Ruth currently plays in the Broadway musicals "Beauty and the Beast", and "The Producers." Ruth is also a member of Duo Novus with clarinetist, Nuno Antunes.
