Raised in Shamokin, Pennsylvania, number three of five children.Father was FM doc and mother an English teacher.Married to Julie since ‘79 with five grown children: (Noah, Levi, Noel, Joy & Hope plus daughter-in-law Lauren) and two GRAND daughters (so far) - Sophia & Gabriella.
Served ten years in the US Navy Seabee as a Steelworker and 14 years in the US Air Force as an Education and Training officer (stationed in Florida, California, Iceland, Mississippi, Washington, Colorado, Ohio, Iceland, Guam, Greece and Puerto Rico).Retired in 2001 and served as the Director of Faculty Development at Hocking Technical College in Nelsonville OH for 2.5 years until joining OU-HCOM as the Director of Faculty Development in April of 2004.
