Biography
Yoo Jin Jang has performed as soloist since the age of nine with such major South Korean orchestras as the KBS Symphony Orchestra and the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra. She has also performed as soloist with the Kioi Sinfonietta in Tokyo, at the Seoul Spring Festival of Chamber Music, with the Extramadura Orchestra in Spain, and, in a performance of the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto, with the Budapest Festival Orchestra under the baton of Ivan Fischer. As a member of the Korea National University of Arts Quartet, she was awarded the Schloss Weikersheim Scholarship at the London String Quartet Competition in 2009.
