Biography
Vienna-born Robert Waechter learned to play violin by the age of 8. During his studies with Hertha Binder and Alfred Staar ,he played as substitut in the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.In 1980, R.W. became the concertmaster of the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra. Since 1984, he has been the concertmaster of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Nice/Opera de Nice.
