A moonbow, or lunar rainbow, is very rare. Because it is created from moonlight, the colors of a moonbow are very subdued and may even appear as shades of gray. Inspired by the first movement of Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata," this piece for solo piano is a musical painting of a a moonbow.
