Their sweet perfumes hovered
On my undone hair!
And you Love ... so bravely
You embraced us… whistling!
 
The Love so brave
And its sweet perfume! ...
Promised happy days,
Beneath the majestic sycamores!
 
Leave me these dreams ...
My illusions rise again,
When one of them awakes!
With the hope that slumbers ...
 
Leave me ... a small house
Where the child will play "tea party",
Protected by a beautiful enclosure,
Near the grandmother with half-closed eyes ...
 
Leave me my trees
And the ponds where tremble
The reflections of a willow,
And your hand on my shoulder ...
 
Leave me my dreams!
