etude is an exercise in executing legato thirds in the right hand. While initially just a trill of two diatonic thirds, these
quickly progress to a diversity of turns and scales, posing many different
technical challenges. The left hand's part contains the basis of the musical content
and together both hands create an almost impressionistic sound in this
