Eunjung Lee (Eun.Lee), Piano
Biography
Eunjung Lee, an active collaborative pianist, has appeared in music festivals such as Centro Studi Lirica in Italy, Mozarteum Internationale Sommer Akademie in Austria, Aspen Music Festival, Baldwin-Wallace (former Cleveland) Art Song Festival, and Song Fest 2001 in California, where she had the great opportunity to work with singers from all around the world. Last year, she was presented in recital in Louisiana by the Marilyn Horne Foundation.
Born in Seoul, Korea, Ms. Lee received her Bachelor of Music from Ewha Womans University, where she began to establish her career as an accompanist. Continuing her studies in the Master's program for Piano Accompanying with Dr. Heasook Rhee at Manhattan School of Music, Ms. Lee served as a vocal coach for art songs and operas. She then moved to University of Michigan and completed a specialist in vocal accompanying and coaching program with Martin Katz. Ms. Lee returned to New York to join the faculty of the Manhattan School of Music, where she was a vocal coach and staff pianist. In addition, she served as a staff pianist at the Bronx Opera, Project Opera of Manhattan, and Opera for Humanity, and participates in the Opera program as a Repetiteur at Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.
