Did you know that you can create your own custom playlists on Classical
Connect? Creating a playlist is actually really simple and can be completed in three easy steps!
1. Locate and click the "Personal" tab at the top-right of
the home page or the forum page.
2. Select "Playlists" from the left hand side of the screen.
3. Click on "New Playlist".
Now you can start adding music to your playlist by clicking
"Add to Playlist" from any song you are listening to on the main page.
I'm incredibly frustrated. Sometimes a piece of music has a button that lets me ad it to a playlist and sometimes it doesn't. If I search to find something, it won't let me add it to a playlist. I can't make new playlists, either. Follow the directions above merely gives me a list of public playlists and no opportunity to make one of my own.
When you click on Add to Playlist icon in the display
area below the Player (it's an icon with a + sign in front of a small sheet), the system automatically adds this
particular piece to your "Current" Playlist. "Current" it's your default playlist. You could create new playlists: go to
Personal section (the button on the top of the screen) and click on
Playlists. Create New Playlists and then
rename it by clicking on the yellow pencil (just write the new name and hit
Enter).
When you're adding a performance from the Player (clicking on Add to Playlist
green button), you could select to which playlists you'd like to add it to.
Also, when you display your playlists by clicking on the yellow Playlists button and decide to play one of them, don't click on the name of the playlist (such as "Current"): click on Play on the right-hand side.
Private Playlists are now on the front page, and are simpler and better. Use your existing playlists or create the new ones; add recordings from the Player or from the display area when you browse or search for something. Send me a message if you have questions.
I found a piece I liked in a search, but it takes me to a new page to play it, and then the yellow Private playlist button isn't there. If I go to Personal, there is no playlist selection there either, even though I already have a playlist started. I'm stuck.
If you found a piece, just click on the blue Play button at the right-hand side of the line that lists that piece. It will start playing in the same (main) page. Click on Add to Playlist in the player, that should do it. Please send me a message if it still doesn't work for you.
Like some other posts, I'm frustrated. I go to the "browse by composer" list, select an item and clickon the plus sign at extreme right, then continue like this thinking I'm putting together a list and canthen start it and have selected music for an hour or so. But then I can't find my list anywhere.
