Where Are You Now, Humphrey the Whale? Quartet

Recorded on 01/01/1991, uploaded on 11/18/2009

Musician's or Publisher's Notes

I wrote this song when the real humpback whale named Humphrey was stuck on the mudflats near Candlestick Park. By the time it was recorded, he was already several months back out to sea. (They say timing is everything...) On vocal: Rick Jacob. On guitars: Tim Johnson (Mr. Beene). On keyboards, drum machine and background vocals: Rocky Leplin. On whalesong: Humphrey.

This is really a great song, I love it.  I can see the whale while I'm listening.
